The high standards achieved by the hairdressers employed at Stringers, are reached due to a lot of time, effort and investment directed towards training and development, especially by those people who work with the trainee’s. This was recognised in 2001 with the highly coveted award of Investors in People (IIP).

The training and development of staff is the number one priority as far as the management of Stringers is concerned. They have been doing there own National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) training for four years. The quality and results of this being recognised in 2001 with the awarding of City & Guilds Approved Training Centre status.

In 2004, Stringers formed a partnership with Get Ahead Training to deliver Modern Apprenticeship training to school leavers.
